Terms and Conditions

COMPANY
www.basecampfestival.co.uk is the website of Base Camp Festival (UK) Ltd (company number SC820394), registered at 151 Marine Parade, Dunoon PA23 8HJ.

 

LIABILITY STATEMENT
Outdoor activities contain an element of risk, and any festival-goer participating in activities either on or off the festival site acknowledges that they do so at their own risk and that the event organisers will not be responsible for any injury resulting from the participation in such activities.

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By using this site and by buying tickets via it you will be deemed to have accepted all relevant terms and conditions.

TICKETS & PAYMENTS
1. When you purchase festivals tickets and add-ons from this website, the address you provide must be the same as that registered with your credit/debit card company in order to validate payment.
2. Weekend passes include camping, use of toilets and showers, and a number of free activities, workshops, talks and music on site. Car parking, camper van pitches, food and drink, and off-site activities are not included in the ticket price and can be purchased separately.
3. ID must be presented along with a booking confirmation upon arrival at the festival site, and a wristband will be issued that grants access to the site for the weekend.

4. No refunds will be given, except in the instance that the festival is cancelled.
5. Tickets may not be transferred or resold, and only the person/s named in the original booking will be issued with wristbands and granted access to the site.

6. Re-entry to the festival site will not be permitted without a valid and untampered with wristband.
7. All ticket holders must be 18 years old or older.

FOOD & DRINK
1. There will be a number of food vendors on site, however festival goers may also bring their own food onto the site.
2. Food must be cooked using camp stoves in the camping area only. Fires or barbecues (including  disposable barbecues) may not be used under any circumstances.
3. Alcohol may not be brought into the festival site, and the organisers retain the right to confiscate any bottles/cans or other containers containing alcoholic drinks that have been brought onto the site.
4. Soft drinks/juices/water may be brought onto site and consumed by festival goers.
5. Drinking water will be available on site and can be used free of charge.

CAMPING
1. Camping with tents is included in the ticket price, while roof tents and camper vans will be charged extra for.
2. Tents may only be pitched in the designated areas within the festival site. Car tents and camper vans must be parked in the designated area, which is separate to the main festival site.
3. Motorhomes and caravans are not permitted on site.
4.  There are no electrical hook-ups available on site.
5. Excessively large tents, gazebos or fences are prohibited (at the ornaniser’s discretion).
6. There are no grey water or toilet waste disposal facilities in the campervan parking area.

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS & UNSOCIABLE BEHAVIOUR
1. Any behaviour that is deemed to be offensive or unsociable will result in the person/s involved being ejected from the festival.
2. There is a noise curfew of 11pm during the festival, and anyone breaking this rule will be asked to desist, and if the noise continues they will be asked to leave the site.
3. Smoking is not permitted in any covered areas of the site, including but not resistricted to tents, tipis, toilets, showers and vehicles engaged in transporting festival goers to off-site activities.
4. Alcohol, weapons (or anything that could be used as a weapon), illegal drugs, disposable barbecues, animals other than guide dogs, drones, and any other item considered by the organisers as being inappropriate for the event may not be brought onto the festival site, and if so will be confiscated and the person/s involved may be ejected from the festival.
5. Any person suspected of carrying illegal items or carrying out illegal activity may be handed over to the Police, refused entry or evicted from the site without a refund.
